In the context of 'Groenjaar 2008' (Greenery Year 2008), the city of Rotterdam wil organise three sub-studies on the the quality of greenery in the city:
- research into the use of greenery
- research into valuation and needs of greenery
- research into the quality of greenery
The department Urbanism of the faculty of Architecture in Delft has been asked to assist in the third aspect (quality of greenery) by means of research. This question relates to the investigation of the department to the success of city parks. The MSc 2 Urbanism is currently preforming research at the 'Grondherendijk' location.
